DueBound, by DigiPlugLabs LLC · Last updated: 08 September 2026
You can delete your DueBound account and everything in it at any time. There are two ways to do it, and neither requires you to contact anyone first.
Open DueBound
Go to Settings
Scroll to the Data section
Tap Delete my account & data
Confirm when asked
Deletion happens straight away. It cannot be undone, and there is no recovery period — once it is gone, it is gone.
If you cannot get into the app, email support@digipluglabs.com from the address on the account, asking us to delete it. We complete these within 30 days, and usually within two business days.
We ask you to write from the account's own address because that is how we confirm the request is really yours. We will not delete an account on someone else's say-so.
Everything attached to your account, permanently:
Your account and the email address it was created with
Your profile — display name, photo, year, school, and target GPA
Every assignment, step, and due date
Your subjects, courses, and difficulty settings
Study plans, study logs, timer sessions, and activity history
Grades, GPA records, and archived past terms
Recurring commitments and templates
Your saved app settings and preferences
The list of devices signed in to the account
Any Family Connect links between your account and a parent or student
Nothing is kept in our live systems. Deletion removes every record above immediately.
Encrypted backups: our database is backed up automatically, so copies of your records may persist in those encrypted backups for a short period after deletion. They are not accessible through the app or by our staff in the ordinary course, and they are removed within 30 days.
Emails you sent us: if you have written to support, that correspondence stays in our email records unless you ask us to remove it. Say so in your request and we will.
Your purchase record: if you subscribed, Apple or Google holds the transaction record. That belongs to them, not to us, and we cannot delete it. Their respective privacy policies cover it.
If you want a clean slate — a new school year, or a term you would rather not look at again — you can clear your schoolwork and keep your account:
Open DueBound
Go to Settings
Scroll to the Data section
Tap Clear my data
Confirm when asked
Removed: every assignment, along with its steps and the score you gave it; your recurring commitments; study plans; study logs and timer sessions; your activity history; and any subjects you added. Subjects go back to the starting set.
Kept: your account and email address, your profile, your archived past terms and their grades, and any study templates or methods you created.
This clears the data on every device signed in to the account, not just the one you are holding, and it cannot be undone. If you only want to stop this device syncing, sign out instead.
Deleting your DueBound account does not cancel an active subscription, because the subscription is billed by Apple or Google rather than by us. Cancel it there first, or you will keep being charged for an account that no longer exists:
iPhone / iPad: Settings app → your name → Subscriptions → DueBound
Android: Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → DueBound
You do not need an account to use DueBound. If you only want to stop syncing between devices, signing out is enough — your work stays on the device and in the account, untouched. Deleting is only for when you want the account and its contents gone.
